Coffeetown football: most EXPLOSIVE plays from Max ‘the Axe’ Bell

Coffeetown football returns in under two months. To whet your appetite for that blessed return to the radio booth this, Max ‘The Axe’ Bell put together his most explosive play calls this July 4th weekend.

First Coffeetown football call takes us back to a bittersweet night at Root Creek

Max ‘The Axe’ Bell had to watch Coffeetown’s football game with Root Creek from his tree stand.

Coffeetown assistant coach Mike Rogers poked around at a hornet’s nest, causing everyone to flee the press box.

And we all remember the wild boar incident that took out Coffeetown quarterback Ashley Holt (and his Grave Digger tattoo) on the field.

But before that unfortunate event, Mousepad Palmer blew up Root Creek’s return man and knocked him out of the game.

Another special teams play makes the list at #2

Coffeetown traveled to Bacon Fork for the Silver Skillet on a crisp October night.

Big Peep McAlister stood right up out of the punt formation and zipped it over the line to Toddler Moss, who is no stranger to big plays himself.

Some fireworks shows are all power. This bit of pyrotechnics showed a little more finesse.

Coffeetown went on to win the game with a stunning defensive stand. Nacho Davis and his sister, Dawn’Tonya, laid the lumber.

Defense wins championships, and it came up big in Coffeetown football’s most recent State Championship season

Mackerel McKenzie and Nacho Davis had their own fireworks on a goal line stand at Birchgate.

The win propelled Coffeetown to a thrilling State Championship victory over Coalboro.

MUCH MORE where this came from coming up this fall.
