High school football horse mascot relieves itself on field, delays game

A live high school football horse mascot in Arizona left a pileup on the 50-yard line in pregame.

ALA Queen Creek and Saguaro had to push kickoff back due to the doo doo.

First of all, I know I called it manure in the headline. And manure technically has to be used for fertilization.

But who’s to say this horse cr*p doesn’t fertilize some motivation to grow on the Patriots’ field?

Or perhaps some intimidation for the visiting team?

Live mascots rarely show up in high school football

It’s always a treat when a school does have a living, breathing mascot down there on the field.

Even when accidents like this one occur, it’s better than a kid in a costume.

Unless of course the kid in the costume *pretends* to do it on the rival’s turf.

Then it’s a tie.

It doesn’t hurt to have a backup plan for live animal high school football mascots like this.

You know there’s a team granddad out there in the parking lot on his steel horse.

Just ask him to be on standby to fly that flag (if the horse hasn’t shown any signs of progress by the National Anthem or so).

Never underestimate a good shovel assistant

Look, I don’t know who the kid is in the video.

But I imagine he’ll have more practice at this later on in the season.

This is a job that requires you to be all in.

If you’re just trying to climb the staff ladder, you won’t last long.

So just be where your feet are – as long as you make sure you know where your feet are in relation to wherever Cinnamon left its turf turds.

Just keep shovelin’, and you’ll be on clipboard doody in no time.
